John Dos Passos, 1930 date read 1/29/23
At first, I thought this was another non-novel, like Wineburg, Ohio. Just a disconnected series of sketches.
About 2/3 of the way through, however, they all unexpectedly connected.
My only...not complaint, but area I don't like very much, is the The Camera Eye sections that are stream of consciousness and don't seem related to anything in the text.
This is the first book of a trilogy so I'm reserving final judgement until finish the whole thing.
