Frank Herbert, 1965

Date read: 3/18/26

I liked this just a hair away from The Years of Rice and Salt by Kim Stanley Robinson, which is my favorite novel. I immediately went on Thriftbooks and bought the second and third in the series. I will have to update the page to list this as one of the best. Just phenomenal!

ETA: I read the next two books in the series immediately after this. They were also phenomenal. I am looking forward to seeing the film (even if Timothee Chalet-whomever is annoying af). I am amazed that someone can build worlds and experiences so different from anything they've ever seen or felt in the 'real world'.
