Marianne Fredriksson, 1985

Date read: 5/8/25

What a strange novel. It wasnt at all hard to follow or anything, but it was very odd. People have esp or premonition and talk to trees and birds. A boy is adopted and raised by a childless couple who adore him, and he is filled with rage because of it. Another child suffers severe trauma at the hands of some SS soldiers and dissociates. It's all just a bit much.

Like I said, I didnt dislike it. But I didnt like it very much either.
