🎆200th novel completed!!🎆

Began September 12, 2021. 1/3 completed in 1,495 days. At this rate, I'll be done in early December, 2033.

I've read about 487 books total in that period (average 121.75 per year), making List books 41 percent of what I read. I am aiming to get it closer to 50 percent, alternating a List book with a My Choice book.

Anyway! I really enjoyed this novel. Of course it was terribly sad, as so many novels are. A young child dies tragically, which is my own personal trigger. And people are hurt and die because of the Indian caste system, which is disgusting.

I liked how the novel was written, like a poem rather than like prose. It was lyrical, according to reviews I've read.

I gave this one 5 out of 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Edited 10/21: Upon further reflection, I think the twins had sex. With each other. But it is unclear. Probably intentionally. This isn't Stephen King. Therefore I take away 1 star for possible incest. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
