Graham Greene, 1940

First impression: Mexican Les Mis?

Yes, actually. It is the same basic premise: dedicated police officer seeking a prisoner. Except the prisoner in this is a Catholic priest during a time when religion was illegal.

The priest does a lot of soil searching and a lot of beating himself up for not being a better priest. Parts of it drag a bit, especially if you arent religious... but overall, I thoughtit was very good!
