Fyodor Dostoyesky, 1866

Date read: 8/6/24

If you took all the philosophical and political chatter out of this novel, you'd have an interesting short story about a murder investigation. But it is a Russian novel, which means it is really really long and philosophical. Russian novels are so Bleak. Depressing. This one actually had a happy(ish) ending so that was unique.
