William Kennedy,1979

Date read: 12/1/24

It was cool reading this one because it is based in Albany, NY. So I am familiar with a lot of the places mentioned.

This was very sad but ended hopefully. Guilt is a hard thing to overcome, especially in this case where it involves the accidental death of a newborn. I don't know if I'd be capable of overcoming guilt like that. Horrendous.

The novel is well written and interesting. I read it in just over one day.
