Frankly, this novel was boring as fuck. It is written entirely in the passive tense. There is no action and dialog is reported, not shown.


I think the idea was to show how hard life could be for women? Trying to survive, husband to husband, looking for support. Maybe. I'm really not sure.


I had to slog through it and really did not enjoy it at all.
