Isabel Allende, 1987

This is a solid, well constructed and well written novel that I thoroughly enjoyed reading. In fact I read the whole thing in like 2 days.

This is two novels in a row about living under a dictatorship and with Trump likely to be president again, I hope this isnt the universe speaking to me lol

Excellent, sad, romantic, beautiful novel 9.7/10
