William Faulkner, 1931

Date read: 9/24/24

Oof. This novel is about a teenage girl who is raped and held against her will for several weeks. And a lawyer who inadvertently is trying to get her rapist off. It was not graphic, because of the time when it was written, but still hard to read. Exceptionally well written (ofc).
