Iris Murdoch, 1978

Ever stalked someone? Wanna know what it's like? This is the novel for you!

In all seriousness, the main character never has any idea what he's doing is stalking or that it is unwelcome and wrong, which I suppose may be true of many stalkers.

It is a strange novel, besides the stalking, but overall quite a good read.

Length: 495 pages in Penguin Classics paperback

Classic: yes
