Looking up an image for this post, I learnt there is a movie for this book, which I definitely want to watch. I ate this book up in just one day. I can't say I enjoyed it, but I couldnt put it down. Indian society is awful Jesus Christ!! Never been so glad to be American.

Rereadable: no but I will watch the movie for sure
Classic: yes! Modern Classic like Salman Rushdie
