Richard Adams, 1972 Read: 10/30/21

I absolutely LOVED this novel. It is beautifully written, a marvelous story that draws you in and keeps you invested from the beginning to end.

I think I may have seen the animated movie of this when I was a kid, because I kind of vaguely remember such a thing, but I do plan to watch it again soon. It reminded me very much of Redwall except with realistic animals.

I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this novel. I will definitely be reading the sequel.
